Shipping & Returns

FREIGHT
We can ship to virtually any address in Australia & most countries around the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to some international destinations.

We offer direct ship to your nominated address or pick up from any of our A1 Exhausts stores/authorised installer network . We are also able to offer pick up from our state warehouses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Townsville but ask callers to adhere to agreed times & respect our Health & Safety Policies.

When you place an order, we will calculate freight and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the options you choose. The freight dates we give are an estimate but usually pretty accurate.

RETURNS

Faulty Product

Exhausts Australia Wide will provide a replacement part or unit free of charge or refund the purchase price at our discretion for faulty products returned to us within 30 days of purchase date subject to:

* The product having not been damaged or tampered with in any way.

* Inspection and/or testing by us of the returned product.

* Prior to returning the part or unit you must contact us by phone or email.

* When sending back a part or unit we advise you to use a freight service that insures & tracks the part - we cannot be held responsible for it until it has been received back by us.

* Purchasers are responsible for shipping charges back to us. We will pay the shipping charges on the replacement product.

Wrong Product
In the event of a Purchaser having ordered the wrong product, Exhausts Australia Wide will at our discretion generally accept return of the product and credit the sale price excluding the actual shipping charge ( this may be more than the original delivery charge incurred at time of order as we subsidise freight charges ) & reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee of 10% at our discretion. The product must be un-opened and in a re-sellable condition. If the Purchaser orders a replacement product of a similar or greater value to replace the wrong goods the restocking fee will also cover the cost of shipping by standard method of the replacement product. Credits are at the discretion of Exhausts Australia Wide and are subject to:

* The product being shipped back to us within 7 days of receipt by the Purchaser. The cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the purchaser - we do not accept "receiver pays" shipments. Returns should be sent to A1 Exhausts, 32 Swan Parade, Warner, Qld 4500.

* Prior to returning the part or unit you must contact us by phone or email.

* The product and its packaging being "as new" when received back by us.We are unable to accept back exhaust systems that have been fitted to a vehicle.

* The product being a generally stocked item of Exhausts Australia Wide.

* When sending back a part or unit we advise you to use a freight service that insures & tracks the part - we cannot be held responsible for it until it has been received back by us.

Please note : Any credit or refund issued by us will NOT include the original freight charge. The amount refunded will be less the actual freight cost to send the product to the purchaser. This reduction may be more than the amount charged at time of order as we subsidise freight costs.

TUNIT CHIP 90 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

We offer our customers the ability to return for credit a Tunit chip purchased from A1 Exhausts Australia Wide on the following basis :

1. We are notified in writing of your intention to return the Tunit within the 90 day period. 

2. It is the purchasers responsibility to return the Tunit complete with wiring harness at their expense in an "as new" unmarked condition.

3. The refund/credit we issue will be for the original purchase price less the cost of the Express Post delivery, installation charge and any fees we paid processing the payment ie credit card or PayPal fees. Unless shown separately on your invoice, the installation charges are calculated at the invoice value less the cost of the chip if bought at our Self Fit price, for example $1280 less self fit $1195 = installation charge is $85 )

The unit will be checked out to ensure it is a good working order prior to the refund being issued.

4. After the 90 day Money Back Guarantee period has expired we may our discretion buy back a Tunit chip purchased from A1 Exhausts Australia Wide. The price for any such buy back will be discussed at the time. Please send  photos of the unit/harness so that we can make you an offer. 5. We only buy back current model Tunit chips.
